Spring Family Weekend Featured Events

Spring Family Weekend is a time for you and your student to reconnect. We encourage you to explore the New River Valley, Blacksburg, and our campus. Be part of Ut Prosim (That I May Serve) by participating in a service project, find out what it is like to cheer on our Hokies in Lane Stadium or simply stroll leisurely down the Huckleberry Trail. No matter what type of event or activity you enjoy most, make sure to spend some time making lasting memories with your student. And while you are making those memories during Spring Family Weekend, be sure to post and share photos with your Hokies and tag #VTFamilyWeekend.

Throughout the spring semester, we will continue to update the events happening in and around Virginia Tech during Spring Family Weekend, so please check back regularly.

Virginia Tech Spring Football Game

Saturday, April 14
3:30 p.m.
Lane Stadium, Worsham Field

Each year, the Hokies give students, alumni, parents, and friends a sneak peek at the upcoming football season by holding the Maroon and Orange Spring Game. You don’t need tickets to get into this event, so bring your pom-poms, wear your orange and maroon, and enjoy an afternoon at Lane Stadium watching the Hokies play! The 2018 Family of the Year will be introduced on the field during the game. Concessions are available and admission is FREE.

Spring Family Weekend is supported, in part, by the Hokie Family Annual Fund. Through the Hokie Family Annual Fund, you can make an immediate and positive impact on your student’s experience, from orientation to graduation.
